Job Title: Internal Audit Manager – Banking & Financial Services, Risk-Based

Job Description: As an Internal Audit Manager for Banking and Financial Services at a UAE bank, you will apply risk-based internal audit methodology — leading and managing banking and financial services audit engagements from planning through reporting for a professionally managed UAE banking institution.

Responsibilities:

• Apply risk-based internal audit methodology to banking and financial services audit leadership
• Lead and manage banking and financial services audit engagements from planning through reporting
• Plan, execute, and report on risk-based internal audits across banking operations and financial controls
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of financial controls across banking functions
• Manage junior audit staff on banking engagements with mentoring and quality review oversight
• Produce structured internal audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations
• Support audit committee reporting and Board presentations for banking internal audit outcomes
• Monitor UAE banking regulatory and audit standards for engagement delivery compliance

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Internal Audit Manager experience with risk-based banking and financial services audit
• Strong risk-based audit planning, fieldwork execution, and banking internal audit leadership
• Deep knowledge of UAE banking regulatory standards and financial controls for audit delivery
• CIA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required for audit manager mandate
• Excellent written audit report production and banking senior management communication
• GCC banking or financial services internal audit management experience strongly preferred
