Job Title: Audit Manager (External Audit)

Job Description: As an Audit Manager for External Audit at a globally leading professional services firm in Abu Dhabi, you will apply 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience — providing complex accounting advice on abnormal transactions or acquisitions — to lead external audit engagements for Deloitte Abu Dhabi’s client portfolio across financial services, government, and corporate sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Apply 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience to lead external audit engagements in Abu Dhabi
• Provide complex accounting advice on abnormal transactions or acquisitions for client engagements
• Lead audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting for complex external audit mandates across multiple sectors
• Manage and develop junior audit team members on complex Abu Dhabi client engagements
• Produce high-quality external audit reports with clear findings and management recommendations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through expert external audit delivery
• Contribute to business development activities for the Audit and Assurance practice in Abu Dhabi
• Stay current on IFRS developments, UAE auditing standards, and sector-specific accounting requirements

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience — required for this Audit Manager role
• Ability to provide complex accounting advice on abnormal transactions or acquisitions
• Proven Audit Manager experience with external audit leadership across multiple client sectors
• Strong IFRS knowledge, audit methodology, and team management skills
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification required
• Abu Dhabi external audit management experience strongly preferred
