Job Title: Audit Manager – Financial Service

Job Description: As an Audit Manager for Financial Services covering Banking and Capital Markets at a professional services consultancy in Dubai, you will apply experience of managing engagements from pre-plan through to reporting stage — with experience managing junior staff on engagements — to lead banking and capital markets audit mandates for UAE financial services clients.

Responsibilities:

• Apply experience managing engagements from pre-plan through to reporting stage for audit delivery
• Lead banking and capital markets audit engagements for UAE financial services clients
• Manage junior audit staff on complex banking and capital markets engagements — mentoring and developing the team
• Plan and execute audit fieldwork — identifying control gaps and risk areas across banking and capital markets
• Produce high-quality audit reports with clear findings and actionable management recommendations
• Review financial information such as budgets, reports, and financial statements to support analysis
• Coordinate with banking operations, risk, and compliance leadership on audit findings and remediation
• Contribute to business development activities for the financial services and banking audit practice

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience managing audit engagements from pre-plan through to reporting stage — required
• Experience managing junior audit staff on complex banking and capital markets engagements — required
• Proven Audit Manager experience in financial services, banking, and capital markets audit
• Strong understanding of banking financial reporting, capital markets operations, and UAE regulatory audit standards
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification required
• UAE financial services audit management experience strongly preferred
