Job Title: Manager – Regulatory Compliance & MLRO

Job Description: As a Manager for Regulatory Compliance and MLRO at a globally established fintech platform, you will move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles — balancing speed and rigor in leading the UAE regulatory compliance and AML function. You will own the MLRO designation for a globally scaling fintech that is simplifying global business payments and financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles — balancing speed and rigor
• Own the MLRO designation for a globally established fintech platform in the UAE
• Develop and maintain the UAE regulatory compliance and AML/CFT framework for a globally scaling fintech
• Engage with CBUAE and applicable UAE financial regulators on compliance, licensing, and AML matters
• Oversee KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and STR/SAR filing for the UAE entity
• Lead compliance monitoring and testing — producing reports for senior management and governance review
• Provide strategic compliance advisory to Product, Technology, and Commercial teams on regulatory requirements
• Monitor UAE and global fintech regulatory developments affecting the compliance programme

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Manager-level Regulatory Compliance and MLRO experience within a globally established fintech
• Deep knowledge of UAE AML/CFT regulations and fintech licensing frameworks for payment service providers
• Ability to move fast with good judgment and make decisions from first principles in a high-growth environment
• Strong AML programme management, regulatory engagement, and team leadership skills
• CAMS or equivalent compliance qualification required
• UAE fintech or payments regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred
