Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description: As a Data Engineer at a leading expense management and corporate payments fintech, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers business intelligence, product analytics, and financial reporting across a platform trusted by over 2,000 businesses. You will work with top-tier data engineering talent to build scalable data pipelines and analytical systems that support the fintech’s rapid growth across UAE and KSA.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the data infrastructure powering business intelligence, product analytics, and financial reporting
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines supporting real-time and batch data processing for fintech operations
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and analytical frameworks for expense management and payments data
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Engineering teams on data infrastructure requirements and analytics delivery
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all data pipelines and analytical systems
• Build scalable data solutions appropriate for a rapidly growing, regulated fintech environment
• Monitor data pipeline performance and proactively address reliability and data quality issues
• Contribute to building the data infrastructure that reimagines how finance works for modern businesses

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven data engineering experience building scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for fintech or SaaS platforms
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency with experience in cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent)
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or equivalent)
• Understanding of fintech data challenges including payment reconciliation, expense categorization, and financial reporting
• Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional data infrastructure development
• Passion for data, fintech, and building scalable systems for high-growth startups
