Job Title: Transaction Monitoring Analyst

Job Description: Looking for a Transaction Monitoring Analyst in Dubai. The role is an Operations level position requiring 1–2 years of experience, supporting Rapyd’s financial crime operations and transaction monitoring for its UAE operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review transaction alerts across Rapyd’s payment processing platform for suspicious activity and financial crime indicators
• Conduct initial investigation of transaction monitoring alerts — assessing risk levels and determining escalation or closure
• Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for flagged accounts and transactions
• Support SAR/STR preparation and submission processes in accordance with applicable UAE regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records of all transaction monitoring reviews and investigation documentation
• Coordinate with the Compliance team on escalated cases, regulatory queries, and AML investigations
• Stay current on payment fraud typologies, financial crime trends, and UAE transaction monitoring regulatory requirements
• Contribute to process improvements within the transaction monitoring operations function

Qualifications Needed:

• 1–2 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML compliance, or financial crime operations within fintech or banking
• Understanding of payment transaction flows, transaction monitoring tools, and AML/CFT regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for financial crime indicator identification
• Experience with compliance screening tools (World-Check, ComplyAdvantage, or equivalent) preferred
• AML qualification (CAMS or equivalent) is advantageous
• Excellent written English for investigation documentation and reporting
