Job Title: Partnerships Manager – Financial Services

Job Description: The Partnerships Manager will build and deepen Lean’s bank partnership network — negotiating data sharing agreements, API connectivity partnerships, and commercial relationships that strengthen Lean’s regulated network and enable its clients to access more financial data and payment rails.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage Lean’s strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and financial services firms in Saudi Arabia and UAE
  • Negotiate data sharing agreements, API connectivity partnerships, and commercial contracts with financial institution partners
  • Drive Lean’s bank connectivity network — onboarding new banking partners and deepening existing bank API relationships
  • Work with Lean’s Technical team on partner integration requirements and API connectivity scoping
  • Identify new partnership opportunities across the MENA financial ecosystem — including embedded finance, lending, insurance, and investment platforms
  • Represent Lean at financial services industry events, fintech forums, and banking conferences in Saudi Arabia
  • Monitor partner performance and relationship health — proactively identifying and resolving partnership friction
  • Provide market intelligence on the MENA Open Finance landscape and competitive partnership ecosystem

Qualifications Needed:

  • 4–7 years of partnership management, business development, or commercial experience within fintech, banking, or financial services
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabia and UAE banking ecosystem and financial services landscape
  • Experience negotiating and managing strategic partnerships with banks or financial institutions is a strong advantage
  • Understanding of Open Banking, API ecosystems, and financial data connectivity preferred
  • Excellent Arabic and English communication skills — required for KSA banking partner engagement
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh

What the Company Offers:

  • Partnerships leadership at the region’s first SAMA-licensed Open Finance platform
  • Meaningful equity for every team member
  • Competitive salary and private healthcare
  • $67.5M Series B backed by General Catalyst and Sequoia
