Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description: As a senior Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operating model of a UAE fintech focused on gold trading, coordinating trade execution, logistics, compliance, risk controls, and process improvement so that precious-metals transactions move efficiently across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operational activity for the fintech gold-trading business
• Coordinate trade execution across the full precious-metals transaction lifecycle
• Manage logistics requirements connected with physical gold and commodity movements
• Ensure operational activity follows international compliance requirements
• Identify and implement process-optimization opportunities across operations
• Manage operational risks and maintain effective controls across workflows
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams involved in transaction delivery
• Work with customs authorities, logistics providers, and refineries when required

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
• Five to seven years of experience in gold or commodity-trading operations
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, logistics, and international compliance
• Experience managing operational processes, risk, and cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office; knowledge of LBMA standards is an advantage
