Job Title: KYC / CDD Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking a KYC/CDD Analyst based in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for client onboarding and ongoing monitoring, including escalation of higher-risk clients to the compliance or financial crime teams where appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct KYC and CDD reviews for new client onboarding across Capitex’s regulated business lines
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for higher-risk clients including PEPs, high-risk jurisdictions, and complex ownership structures
• Identify and escalate potential financial crime risks, sanctions concerns, or adverse media findings to the compliance team
• Maintain accurate and complete KYC/CDD documentation and case records
• Process KYC refresh reviews for existing clients in line with risk-based monitoring schedules
• Use financial crime screening tools and databases to conduct PEP, sanctions, and adverse media checks
• Support the Compliance team with regulatory reporting and audit preparation
• Stay current on KYC/CDD regulatory requirements applicable to fintech and payments businesses

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience in KYC, CDD, or AML analyst roles within fintech, banking, or payments
• Familiarity with financial crime screening tools and databases (World-Check, ComplyAdvantage, or equivalent)
• Understanding of PEP screening, sanctions screening, and adverse media checks
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage high volumes of KYC documentation accurately
• AML or KYC compliance certification (CAMS or equivalent) is advantageous
• Ability to escalate higher-risk clients to compliance or financial crime teams appropriately
