Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description: As a Data Engineer at Deriv, you will build and maintain the trading data infrastructure, creating robust data pipelines and supporting AI/ML initiatives to drive data-driven decision-making across the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for trading data, market data, and customer analytics.
• Implement data processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka) and optimize data storage (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to support model training and feature engineering.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across the data platform.

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in fintech, trading, or technology.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Flink).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; fluent in English.
