Job Title: Data Analyst – Strategic Recommendations (Fintech)

Job Description: Transform complex datasets into strategic recommendations at a Middle East fintech firm. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and enhance business outcomes through effective data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Transform complex datasets into clear strategic recommendations for business leadership
• Collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and commercial teams to drive data-informed decision-making
• Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor business performance
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on key business metrics to identify drivers, trends, and anomalies
• Support financial planning and commercial analysis with robust data models
• Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting infrastructure to ensure data quality and availability
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders with varying levels of technical background

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategic analysis within fintech or financial services
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience designing dashboards and reporting frameworks for operational and commercial decision-making
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for translating data into business insights
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
