Job Title: Treasury & Payments Operations Analyst

Job Description: The Treasury & Payments Operations Analyst will manage daily payment reconciliation, investigate failed transactions, maintain banking relationships, and support the regional treasury team with operational reporting and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily reconciliation of Ebury’s cross-border payment flows — matching transactions to nostro account statements and identifying discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve failed, rejected, or delayed payment transactions in coordination with banking partners and internal teams
  • Support the management of Ebury’s MENA banking relationships — including correspondent bank queries, account maintenance, and payments infrastructure
  • Manage settlement processes for client FX transactions — ensuring accurate, timely FX delivery and funding
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for payment operations and treasury audit trails
  • Produce daily and monthly operations reports for regional treasury and management
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the payments operations team
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements related to payment transaction volumes and settlement activities

Qualifications Needed:

  • 2–4 years of experience in payments operations, treasury operations, or reconciliation within fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payment mechanics, SWIFT, and correspondent banking settlement processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for high-volume reconciliation
  • Understanding of FX settlement, nostro management, and payment system operations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to work to tight daily operational deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills; Arabic language preferred for MENA banking partner engagement
