Job Title: Software Engineer – Trading Systems

Job Description:The Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of high-performance trading system components — working in a low-latency, high-throughput financial technology environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for Equiti’s trading systems including order management, pricing engines, and liquidity connectivity
• Build and optimize low-latency, high-throughput trading system components in C++ or C#
• Develop and maintain API integrations with liquidity providers, market data vendors, and prime brokers (FIX protocol, WebSocket, REST)
• Monitor trading system performance and contribute to reliability and latency optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with the Risk, Operations, and Product teams on trading system requirements and enhancements
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production support of trading system releases
• Maintain technical documentation for trading system architecture and integrations

Qualifications Needed:

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience with focus on trading systems, financial technology, or low-latency systems
• Strong proficiency in C++, C#, or Java for high-performance system development
• Experience with FIX protocol, WebSocket, and REST API integration for financial data and trading connectivity
• Understanding of trading platform architecture including order management, matching engines, and pricing systems
• Experience with MT4/MT5 platform architecture or proprietary trading system development preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in production systems
