Job Title: Senior Manager – Legal & Compliance (Dubai)

Job Description:The Senior Manager, Legal & Compliance will own DFSA regulatory compliance, legal advisory, and governance for the UAE entity — serving as the primary interface with the DFSA and acting as second-line oversight for the Dubai operations.organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the legal and compliance function for Equiti’s DFSA-regulated Dubai entity
• Act as primary regulatory point of contact with the DFSA — managing supervisory engagements, submissions, and notification obligations
• Provide legal advice on commercial agreements, client documentation, marketing materials, and new product development
• Own the compliance monitoring and testing programme, financial crime framework, and regulatory reporting obligations
• Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and training materials for the UAE business
• Review and approve marketing communications and financial promotions for DFSA/UAE compliance
• Support the broader Equiti Group Legal & Compliance function with cross-jurisdictional legal matters as required
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and coordinate regulatory and legal support across the Middle East

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified lawyer or compliance professional with significant post-qualification experience in financial services
• Deep working knowledge of DFSA rules, DIFC laws, and UAE AML/CFT requirements
• Proven track record managing regulatory relationships and supervisory engagements with the DFSA or comparable regulator
• Experience in forex, CFD, multi-asset trading, or online brokerage environments preferred
• ICA, CISI, or equivalent compliance qualification is advantageous
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
