Job Title: Senior Fraud Specialist

Job Description: As a Senior Fraud Specialist for a high-transaction e-commerce and fintech environment, you will be responsible for leading fraud prevention and operations — applying 4–5 years of experience in fraud prevention or fraud operations within high-transaction environments to design and implement fraud controls that protect both the business and its customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead fraud prevention and operations for a high-transaction e-commerce and fintech environment
• Apply 4–5 years of experience in fraud prevention or fraud operations to design and implement effective fraud controls
• Monitor transaction patterns and fraud signals — investigating and resolving suspected fraudulent activity
• Develop and refine fraud detection rules, velocity checks, and risk scoring models to minimize fraud losses
• Coordinate with Card Schemes, PSPs, and acquiring banks on chargeback management and fraud dispute resolution
• Produce fraud performance reports — tracking fraud rates, chargeback metrics, and prevention effectiveness
• Stay current on fraud typologies, attack vectors, and industry fraud prevention best practices
• Mentor junior fraud analysts and contribute to building a high-performing fraud operations team

Qualifications Needed:

• 4–5 years of experience in fraud prevention or fraud operations within high-transaction environments — e-commerce, fintech, or similar — required
• Proven fraud specialist expertise with track record of designing and implementing effective fraud controls
• Strong analytical skills for transaction pattern monitoring and fraud signal detection
• Experience with fraud detection tools, chargeback management, and card scheme fraud processes
• Excellent written communication for fraud reporting and senior stakeholder engagement
• CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or equivalent fraud qualification preferred
