Job Title: Fraud Analyst

Job Description: As a Fraud Analyst and Counter Fraud Specialist, you will strengthen the second-line fraud-risk framework of a major Saudi payments fintech by analysing data, investigating internal fraud, assessing controls, supporting SAMA engagement, and aligning governance and oversight with the Saudi Central Bank Counter-Fraud Framework.

Responsibilities:

• Support development and continuous enhancement of the internal fraud framework
• Align fraud governance and oversight with SAMA’s Counter-Fraud Framework
• Analyse fraud and operational data using SQL and analytical tools
• Investigate suspected internal fraud and potential employee misconduct
• Assess the effectiveness of fraud controls and identify weaknesses
• Prepare evidence, documentation, and responses for SAMA inquiries
• Coordinate remediation with Fraud Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit
• Monitor key fraud indicators and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience in fraud risk, counter-fraud, compliance, banking, or fintech
• Practical data-analysis capability, including SQL
• Knowledge of fraud-prevention frameworks and control assessment
• Ability to conduct detailed investigations and document findings
• Experience working with regulators or supporting regulatory evidence requests
• Analytical judgement, resilience under pressure, and strong cross-functional communication
