Job Title: Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer – Fintech Banking Platform

Job Description: As a Senior DevOps and Platform Engineer for a fintech and digital banking platform, you will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines that power a next-generation SME and retail banking platform — ensuring the highest standards of operational reliability, security, and deployment efficiency for a UAE-based fintech and banking technology company.

Responsibilities:

• Build, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines for a next-generation digital banking platform
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration for banking platform deployments
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for high-availability, secure banking application delivery
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for production banking platform reliability
• Ensure all infrastructure meets UAE financial services regulatory requirements for operational resilience and cybersecurity
• Drive DevOps culture — improving deployment frequency, reducing lead time, and accelerating mean time to recovery
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product teams on platform reliability, security, and delivery efficiency
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to platform engineering standards and documentation

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven senior DevOps or platform engineering experience within a fintech, digital banking, or regulated financial technology environment
• Strong cloud engineering skills (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) expertise
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent), and DevOps automation
• Understanding of banking technology operational resilience, cybersecurity, and UAE regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative engineering skills for high-availability banking platform delivery
• Relevant DevOps or cloud certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, or equivalent) preferred
