Job Title: Risk Analyst – Credit Underwriting

Job Description: As a Risk Analyst specializing in credit underwriting at a high-growth organization in Riyadh, you will evaluate SME business loan applications and perform underwriting analysis to assess creditworthiness and risk. You will be responsible for credit risk assessment, exposure analysis, and supporting the organization’s lending activities in the Kingdom’s dynamic SME financing market.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate SME business loan applications and perform credit underwriting analysis
• Assess creditworthiness and risk profiles of business loan applicants
• Conduct financial analysis and exposure assessment
• Support credit decision-making with data-driven risk insights
• Monitor credit portfolio performance and identify risk trends
• Collaborate with commercial and risk teams on credit policies
• Ensure compliance with credit risk policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications Needed:

• 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk assessment
• Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills
• Exposure to SME lending and fintech credit underwriting is preferred
• Deep understanding of credit risk frameworks and lending standards
• Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
• GCC or Saudi Arabia credit underwriting experience is a plus
