Job Title: Credit Risk Manager – Retail & SME Portfolio

Job Description: As a Credit Risk Manager for Retail and SME Portfolio at a UAE banking organization, you will apply 10+ years of credit risk management experience — leading credit risk strategy, underwriting standards, and portfolio monitoring across retail and SME banking segments for a professionally managed UAE banking institution.

Responsibilities:

• Apply 10+ years of credit risk management experience to retail and SME portfolio risk leadership
• Lead credit risk strategy, underwriting standards, and portfolio monitoring for retail and SME banking
• Develop and maintain credit risk frameworks, scoring models, and policy guidelines for the bank
• Monitor retail and SME portfolio quality — delinquency, NPL tracking, and provisioning management
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Risk teams on credit risk governance
• Engage with CBUAE on credit risk regulatory requirements and portfolio risk reporting obligations
• Produce credit risk performance reports and management information for senior leadership and Board
• Monitor UAE retail and SME credit market developments for credit risk strategy optimization

Qualifications Needed:

• 10+ years of credit risk management experience — required for retail and SME portfolio leadership
• Proven Credit Risk Manager experience with retail and SME banking portfolio background
• Strong credit risk framework development, scoring model oversight, and UAE banking regulatory compliance
• Deep understanding of CBUAE credit risk requirements, provisioning standards, and NPL management
• CFA, FRM, or equivalent qualification preferred for credit risk manager mandate
• GCC retail and SME banking credit risk management experience strongly preferred
