Job Title: Payment Operations Specialist

Job Description: As a Payment Operations Specialist at a consulting company supporting a regulated fintech client, you will be a detail-oriented and proactive professional supporting the day-to-day operations and monitoring of payment channels — ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payment operations across a regulated UAE fintech payment service provider.

Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations and monitoring of payment channels for a regulated UAE fintech
• Monitor payment channel performance — processing success rates, settlement timelines, and dispute tracking
• Investigate and resolve payment processing exceptions, failures, and channel performance issues
• Coordinate with payment processors, banking partners, and internal Technology teams on channel management
• Ensure all payment operations comply with UAE payment regulatory requirements and internal controls
• Maintain accurate payment operations records and documentation for regulatory audit and compliance review
• Produce payment operations performance reporting and management information for senior leadership
• Stay current on UAE and international payment regulatory developments affecting channel operations

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Payment Operations Specialist experience with payment channel monitoring and compliance expertise
• Strong understanding of payment processing, channel management, and UAE regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for payment exception investigation and resolution
• Good organizational and communication skills for banking partner and internal team coordination
• Understanding of AML/CFT requirements and compliance considerations in payment operations
• UAE payment operations or fintech compliance experience strongly preferred
