Job Title: Manager – Finance

Job Description: As a Finance Manager at Bede, the dynamic fintech subsidiary of Zain Bahrain and the country’s first Shariah-compliant Islamic financing app, you will manage all financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and controls. You will provide financial oversight across Bede’s full product portfolio—microfinance, credit cards, remittances, and future products—while ensuring regulatory compliance with the Central Bank of Bahrain.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and controls
• Lead the annual and monthly budgeting process working with the Director of Business and product leads
• Conduct regular business performance reviews, tracking actual results against budget across all products
• Own the financial analysis and performance tracking of Bede’s product portfolio, building product-level financial models
• Ensure compliance with all Central Bank of Bahrain regulations and prepare reports for regulatory authorities
• Review and analyze operating expenses on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
• Assess financial business cases for technology investments and platform enhancements with clear ROI tracking
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Bede CEO and Zain Bahrain CFO

Qualifications Needed:

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA) is required
• 6+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, or a related field, ideally within fintech, banking, or financial services
• Proven track record in budgeting, financial performance review, and cost management within a fast-paced or growth-stage business
• Experience working with or alongside product teams to assess financial viability of new products is a strong advantage
• Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) regulatory reporting experience is a strong advantage
• Exposure to ERP system integrations is preferred
