Job Title: Lead Product Manager – Remittance

Job Description: Seeking a Lead Product Manager for Remittance in Dubai. The role leads the remittance product within Careem’s growing financial services and payments arm.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Careem’s remittance product within its financial services platform
• Define and drive end-to-end remittance product development from discovery through launch and optimization
• Conduct market and user research on remittance needs across Careem’s MENA user base
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Commercial teams on remittance product delivery
• Ensure remittance product features comply with CBUAE and applicable UAE/GCC remittance regulatory requirements
• Define success metrics and monitor remittance product performance post-launch
• Collaborate with Careem’s broader financial services team on building the payments and money movement layer of the Everything App
• Communicate product strategy and progress to executive leadership

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant product management experience with proven track record in payments, remittance, or financial services products
• Deep understanding of cross-border money movement, remittance product design, and user needs in the MENA market
• Experience with UAE or GCC remittance regulatory landscape preferred
• Strong data-driven product approach with A/B testing and user research skills
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills for a lead PM role
• Experience at a super-app, fintech, or major consumer technology platform is a significant advantage
