Job Title: Principal Product Manager – Verification & Activation (Exchange)

Job Description: As a Principal Product Manager for Verification and Activation on a globally established cryptocurrency exchange platform, you will be responsible for owning the full verification and account activation product experience — driving user verification completion rates, activation quality, and the seamless transition of verified users to active trading status on a platform with over 100 million users globally.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full verification and account activation product experience for a globally established cryptocurrency exchange
• Drive user verification completion rates and activation quality — improving the journey from account creation through verified, active trading status
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, analysts, compliance, and marketing teams on verification product delivery
• Apply product expertise to reduce verification friction while maintaining regulatory compliance and KYC/AML standards
• Conduct user research, data analysis, and product experimentation to identify verification flow improvements
• Partner with the Discovery and Onboarding PM on seamless handoffs across the user journey
• Define verification product success metrics and track performance through analytics and regulatory compliance reporting
• Communicate product strategy and roadmap to senior leadership and compliance stakeholders

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant principal-level product management experience — ideally in identity verification, KYC/AML technology, or exchange compliance product roles
• Proven experience at a high-growth technology company — crypto exchange, fintech, neo-bank, or multi-asset broker preferred
• Deep understanding of KYC/AML regulatory requirements for crypto exchanges and their impact on user verification product design
• Strong data-driven product mindset with A/B testing and user research expertise
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with engineering, compliance, and design teams
