Job Title: Graduate Programme 2027 – Software Engineer (Java)

Job Description: We are opening applications for its Graduate Programme 2027 in Dubai for a Software Engineer specializing in Java. The role works within Revolut’s engineering teams to build and maintain the software infrastructure powering one of the world’s fastest-growing digital banking platforms.

Responsibilities:*

• Build and maintain backend software services powering Revolut’s digital banking platform using Java
• Work within cross-functional engineering squads to deliver product features and improvements
• Write clean, well-tested Java code following Revolut’s engineering standards and best practices
• Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering planning sessions
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Compliance teams on software requirements and delivery
• Support production systems and participate in monitoring and incident response
• Learn and apply microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native engineering patterns
• Contribute to Revolut’s engineering culture and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications Needed:

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent for graduate programme entry
• Proficiency in Java with understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Genuine interest in fintech, digital banking, and large-scale software systems
• Ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully in a high-performance engineering team
• Enrolled or recently graduated from a relevant engineering or computer science degree
