Job Title: Financial Regulation and Fintech Associate

Job Description: As a Financial Regulation and Fintech Associate at a globally established international law firm — named the Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe by the Financial Times — you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of financial regulation, fintech, and financial services matters. You will play a key role in advising clients within the financial services and fintech sector across the UAE and MENA region, working at the forefront of integrating legal expertise with emerging financial technology and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on a wide range of financial regulation, fintech, and financial services legal matters for UAE and MENA clients
• Play a key role in advising clients within the financial services and fintech sector on regulatory and commercial legal issues
• Draft and review legal documentation, regulatory submissions, and advisory memoranda for fintech and financial services clients
• Conduct legal research on UAE and international financial regulation, fintech licensing, and digital assets law
• Support senior partners on complex fintech regulatory advisory, licensing, and transactional mandates
• Liaise with UAE financial regulators (DFSA, ADGM FSRA, CBUAE, VARA) on behalf of financial services and fintech clients
• Contribute to business development for the financial regulation and fintech practice in the UAE
• Stay current on global and UAE financial regulation, fintech law, and digital assets regulatory developments

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience in financial regulation or fintech law
• Deep understanding of UAE financial regulatory frameworks including DFSA, ADGM FSRA, CBUAE, and VARA
• Proven ability to advise financial services and fintech clients on regulatory and licensing matters
• Strong legal drafting, research, and client communication skills
• Business development aptitude for a growing UAE fintech regulatory legal practice
• Arabic language skills advantageous for MENA client engagement
