Job Title: Finance Specialist – FP&A & Project Support

Job Description: As a Finance Specialist combining FP&A and Project Support at a banking and fintech technology consultancy, you will address all queries from the finance community related to Finance Information Systems for UAE and overseas operations — initiating, tracking, and ensuring timely resolution of finance system queries while analyzing and optimizing banking operations processes with a focus on remittance, clearing, and trade finance.

Responsibilities:

• Address all queries from the finance community related to Finance Information Systems for UAE and overseas
• Initiate, track, and ensure timely resolution of finance system issues and queries
• Analyze and optimize banking operations processes — with focus on remittance, clearing, and trade finance
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance operations, VAT processing, and system integrations
• Support integration between core banking systems (Finacle, Flexcube) and GL, CRM, and payment platforms
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to improve reconciliation processes around general ledger entries
• Assist in design and implementation of VAT automation and e-invoicing solutions for UAE regulatory compliance
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution for finance system deployments

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Finance Specialist experience in FP&A and project support within a banking or financial services environment
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry — required
• Experience in VAT calculation and e-invoicing in the UAE region — highly desirable
• Strong understanding of remittance, clearing, and trade finance banking operations
• Prior involvement in finance system implementations preferred
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional communication skills for finance community query resolution
