Job Title: Funds Associate / Senior Associate

Job Description: As a Funds Associate or Senior Associate at a globally established international law firm, you will be responsible for advising asset managers, investment funds, and financial institutions on establishing funds and navigating associated regulatory and compliance requirements across the Middle East. You will join the firm’s Middle East Funds and Asset Management practice — contributing to fund formation, structuring, and regulatory advisory for a wide range of fund types across the UAE and broader MENA region.

Responsibilities:

• Advise asset managers and investment funds on establishing funds and the associated regulatory and compliance matters
• Support fund formation transactions — drafting fund documentation, investor agreements, and regulatory submissions
• Advise on fund structures, regulatory frameworks, and compliance obligations for funds domiciled in the UAE and MENA
• Assist with senior fund accountant-level fund administration, accounting, and regulatory reporting advisory
• Conduct legal research on fund regulation, investment management law, and fintech-adjacent investment structures
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development activities within the Funds practice
• Support senior partners on complex fund formation and regulatory advisory mandates
• Stay current on UAE and MENA investment funds regulation, tax developments, and fund market trends

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified lawyer or senior fund accountant with relevant experience in fund formation, investment management, or financial services law
• Strong understanding of UAE and MENA fund regulatory frameworks and fund domiciliation requirements
• Experience advising on fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance for investment funds
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and client management skills
• Dubai or Abu Dhabi-based or willing to relocate
