Job Title: Director, Regulatory Affairs

Job Description: As a Director of Regulatory Affairs for Money Transfers at a globally leading payments technology company, you will deliver strategic and tactical regulatory advice on products and strategy involving money transfers that extend beyond traditional point-to-point payments — advising on complex cross-border payment regulatory matters across EEMEA for one of the world’s most recognized payments companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic and tactical regulatory advice on products and strategy involving money transfers beyond traditional P2P
  • Advise on complex cross-border payment regulatory matters across EEMEA markets and jurisdictions
  • Monitor and interpret money transfer regulations across EEMEA — assessing implications for payments products and strategy
  • Engage with CBUAE, SAMA, and applicable EEMEA central banks and regulators on money transfer regulatory matters
  • Produce regulatory advisory reports, policy position papers, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
  • Coordinate with Product, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams on regulatory requirements for payments innovation
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations across EEMEA
  • Support regulatory licence applications and regulatory engagement for new money transfer product launches

Qualifications Needed:

  • Proven Director-level regulatory affairs experience with money transfer, cross-border payments, or payments regulatory expertise
  • Deep understanding of money transfer regulations across EEMEA — UAE, Saudi Arabia, and international markets
  • Strong strategic regulatory advisory, policy development, and regulator engagement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for regulatory position papers and executive leadership advisory
  • Arabic language skills strongly preferred for UAE and MENA central bank and regulatory engagement
  • EEMEA payments or fintech regulatory affairs experience strongly preferred
