Job Title: Compliance Officer – Vice President

Job Description: As a Compliance Officer at Vice President level at a globally leading financial institution in Dubai, you will apply a university degree or equivalent experience — with legal or business education highly regarded and professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA — to lead compliance operations for a globally recognized investment banking and financial services institution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance operations at VP level for a globally leading investment banking and financial services institution
• Apply university degree or equivalent experience — legal or business education highly regarded
• Apply professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA to compliance programme leadership and regulatory engagement
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures for a regulated banking entity in Dubai
• Engage with DFSA, CBUAE, and applicable UAE regulators on compliance and licensing matters
• Oversee AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting obligations
• Lead compliance monitoring and testing — producing reports for senior management and Board governance
• Provide strategic compliance advisory to business and product teams on regulatory requirements

Qualifications Needed:

• University degree or equivalent experience — legal or business education highly regarded
• Professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA — preferred for this VP Compliance role
• Proven VP-level compliance leadership experience at a globally established investment bank
• Deep knowledge of UAE and DFSA compliance regulatory frameworks for investment banking
• Excellent leadership, regulatory engagement, and Board-level governance communication skills
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE regulatory and banking stakeholder engagement
