Job Title: Compliance Officer – AI-Enabled Banking

Job Description: As a Compliance Officer for an AI-enabled banking and fintech company operating within the Qatar FinTech Hub ecosystem, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a compliance framework aligned with Qatar Central Bank regulations — applying deep fintech and banking compliance expertise to a company backed by Qatar FinTech Hub and QDB initiatives driving AI-enabled banking, compliance automation, and digital financial services across Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a compliance framework aligned with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulatory requirements
• Apply fintech and banking compliance expertise to an AI-enabled banking platform in the Qatar FinTech Hub ecosystem
• Manage AML/CFT, KYC, and regulatory reporting obligations for the Qatar-regulated fintech entity
• Engage with Qatar Central Bank and applicable Qatari financial regulators on compliance and licensing matters
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks for AI-enabled banking operations
• Conduct compliance monitoring and testing — reporting to senior leadership and governance structures
• Advise Product, Technology, and Commercial teams on regulatory requirements for AI banking product development
• Monitor Qatar and GCC fintech regulatory developments including QCB open banking and digital finance initiatives

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Compliance Officer experience in fintech, banking, or AI-enabled financial services
• Understanding of Qatar Central Bank regulatory requirements and Qatar FinTech Hub compliance standards
• Strong AML/CFT programme management and fintech compliance framework development skills
• Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English communication for QCB and client engagement
• CAMS or equivalent AML compliance qualification preferred
• Qatar or GCC fintech compliance experience strongly preferred
