Job Title: Fraud Analyst – Senior Specialist

Job Description: As a Senior Specialist Fraud Analyst at a leading consumer commerce platform in the region, you will apply 4–5 years of experience in fraud prevention or fraud operations within high-transaction environments — e-commerce, fintech, or similar — to lead fraud detection and prevention for one of the Middle East’s largest digital commerce and fintech-adjacent platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Apply 4–5 years of fraud prevention or fraud operations experience in high-transaction environments to senior fraud analysis
• Lead fraud detection and prevention for a major regional digital commerce and payments platform
• Monitor transactions in real time identifying unusual patterns and fraudulent activity across the platform
• Investigate complex fraud cases — analyzing transaction data, account behavior, and device intelligence
• Develop and optimize fraud detection rules, models, and monitoring frameworks for high-transaction volumes
• Coordinate with Technology, Compliance, and Customer Operations teams on fraud case resolution
• Produce fraud performance reporting and management information for senior Fraud and Risk leadership
• Stay current on global e-commerce, fintech, and digital payments fraud typologies and prevention innovations

Qualifications Needed:

• 4–5 years of experience in fraud prevention or fraud operations within high-transaction environments — e-commerce, fintech, or similar — required
• Highly data-driven — comfortable owning metrics and running structured fraud detection experiments
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for fraud data analysis and monitoring performance evaluation
• Strong analytical and investigative skills for complex fraud case analysis and rule optimization
• Experience with fraud monitoring platforms and transaction analytics tools
• UAE or GCC e-commerce or fintech fraud prevention experience strongly preferred
