Job Title: VP / Director – Custody/WaaS Institutional Sales

Job Description: The sales professional will own the full commercial cycle end-to-end across this institutional client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full commercial cycle: prospecting, qualification, structuring, closing, and ongoing client coverage
  • Identify and win new clients, business opportunities, and markets to grow custody volume, AUC (assets under custody), and revenue
  • Translate Hex Safe’s technical advantages (sub-1s cold signing, API-first, DeFi connectivity, native staking, multi-account/multi-user approvals) into commercial wins
  • Work with product team, client operations, compliance, and legal to deliver smooth onboarding
  • Feed product, marketing, and leadership with market intelligence and client signal that shapes the roadmap
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients including investors, allocators, Web3 companies, wealth managers, OTC desks, brokers, PSPs, and banks

Qualifications Needed:

  • 7–10 years of institutional sales or business development experience
  • At least 2–3 years in crypto, ideally selling Wallet-as-a-Service, custody, prime brokerage, or related institutional crypto infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of the crypto custody landscape and infrastructure
  • Proven track record of onboarding and growing institutional client accounts and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain complex products clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English required; Mandarin is a strong plus for HK/Singapore-based candidates
  • Highly organized and self-driven, comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
