Job Title: System Architect – Digital Wallet / Fintech

Job Description: Looking for a System Architect specializing in Digital Wallet and Fintech in Dubai. The role requires expert knowledge in system design, especially in the fintech space, and familiarity with fintech nuances in terms of backend design and transactional behaviours.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable backend systems for digital wallet and fintech applications
• Apply expert knowledge in system design specifically for the fintech space including transactional backend architectures
• Define technical architecture standards for payment processing, wallet management, and financial data services
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure fintech system designs meet performance, security, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership on system design decisions
• Evaluate and select technology stacks, frameworks, and infrastructure appropriate for high-availability fintech systems
• Document system architecture, data flows, and integration specifications
• Partner with Product and Compliance teams on architecture requirements for new financial product features

Qualifications Needed:

• Expert knowledge in system design, especially in the fintech space
• Familiarity with fintech nuances in terms of backend design and transactional behaviours
• Proven experience as a System Architect or Senior Engineer in digital wallet, payments, or fintech technology
• Strong understanding of high-availability, low-latency fintech backend architecture patterns
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of payment protocols, financial data security, and regulatory technical requirements
