Job Title: SRE Engineer – Wealth Management
Job Description: As an SRE Engineer – Wealth Management (m/f/d), you will improve the reliability, security, deployment, observability, and resilience of cloud-based wealth management platforms, working across AWS or Azure infrastructure, Java and .NET services, databases, APIs, containers, CI/CD pipelines, incident response, and regulated financial technology controls.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and improve cloud infrastructure supporting wealth management and investment applications
- Support Java and .NET services together with Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, or comparable databases
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, Kubernetes workloads, and automated deployment processes
- Monitor platform availability, performance, capacity, and reliability using appropriate observability tools
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and implement lasting preventive improvements
- Apply cybersecurity, data privacy, resilience, and regulated financial services controls
- Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, service documentation, and delivery records in JIRA or Confluence
- Evaluate relevant emerging capabilities including blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital wallet technology
Qualifications Needed:
- Five to eight years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments and production platform operations
- Working knowledge of Java, .NET, APIs, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databases
- Strong skills in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline
- Banking, fintech, wealth management, trading, blockchain, AI, wallet, or relevant cloud certification experience is preferred
