Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description: As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer within a fintech and banking technology environment, you will be responsible for validating, testing, and ensuring the quality of banking and financial software systems. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans — applying IT skills and fintech knowledge to ensure software meets the rigorous performance, security, and reliability standards required in a regulated banking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for fintech and banking software systems
• Apply strong IT skills and fintech banking software knowledge to validate software quality across all development releases
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for banking and financial applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools — ensuring timely resolution before production releases
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to define acceptance criteria and validate solution delivery
• Perform security and compliance testing ensuring software meets regulated banking environment security standards
• Maintain comprehensive testing documentation and quality assurance records for audit and regulatory review
• Stay current on QA methodologies and best practices for fintech and banking software quality assurance

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience in fintech or testing financial applications is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance for software applications — required
• Strong IT skills with ability to apply technical knowledge to fintech and banking software testing
• Proficiency with QA tools, test management platforms, and bug tracking systems
• Understanding of banking software requirements, regulated technology standards, and compliance testing
• Relevant QA certifications (ISTQB or equivalent) preferred
