Job Title: Senior Architect – Digital Banking Platform

Job Description:  As a Senior Architect for a cloud-native digital banking platform, you will be responsible for guiding enterprise-level architecture decisions and shaping platforms used by millions — working across cross-functional squads to define architecture best practices, guide solution delivery, and mentor junior architects. You will bring strong expertise in cloud-native application design, microservices, and security frameworks to support the development of scalable, resilient, and secure digital banking platforms for a major UAE-based financial institution or fintech.

Responsibilities:

• Guide enterprise-level architecture decisions and shape platforms used by millions of digital banking customers
• Work across cross-functional squads — guiding solution delivery, defining architecture best practices, and mentoring junior architects
• Design cloud-native application architectures and microservices for scalable, resilient, and secure digital banking platforms
• Apply strong background in cloud-native application design, microservices, and security frameworks to platform architecture decisions
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Business leaders to design modern applications and ecosystems aligned with business strategy
• Define and enforce architecture standards, technical governance frameworks, and security architecture patterns
• Lead technical design reviews and architecture validation for complex digital banking platform components
• Produce architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and solution design specifications for executive and engineering audiences

Qualifications Needed:

• Experienced technology architect with a strong background in cloud-native application design, microservices, and security frameworks
• Proven ability to influence enterprise-level architecture decisions and shape platforms at scale
• Experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure digital banking platforms for regulated financial institutions
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), container orchestration, and API-first architecture
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and mentoring skills for leading architecture across squads
• UAE banking or fintech architecture experience preferred
