Job Title: Software Engineer – Fintech

Job Description: As a Software Engineer at a fintech company providing digital payment and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions that enable consumers and merchants to access flexible, secure, and convenient payment options, you will design, develop, and maintain fintech applications that support digital payments, BNPL services, merchant integrations, and customer-facing platforms. You will build secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and backend services
• Build scalable software solutions that support financial transactions and payment processing
• Integrate payment gateways, banking systems, and merchant platforms
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and software releases
• Implement secure coding practices and support compliance requirements
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C#
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools is preferred
• Fintech, banking, or payment systems experience is an advantage
