Job Title: Project Manager Lead – Banking Transformation

Job Description: As a Project Manager Lead for Banking Transformation at a banking and technology consultancy in Abu Dhabi, you will apply functional and technical understanding of critical banking systems and services — with general understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations — to lead complex banking transformation projects for a major UAE banking client.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex banking transformation projects applying functional and technical understanding of critical banking systems
• Apply general understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations to transformation leadership
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budget, and quality for banking transformation programmes
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Banking Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance on transformation delivery
• Track project deliverables and manage vendor coordination for on-time banking system delivery
• Produce executive project status reporting, governance documentation, and risk management for banking client leadership
• Drive stakeholder engagement and change management across complex UAE banking transformation programmes
• Support business development through project delivery excellence and strong banking client relationships

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Project Manager Lead experience with functional and technical banking systems and transformation expertise
• General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for UAE banking transformation
• Strong project leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination skills
• Relevant certifications in product management or project management — advantageous
• UAE or GCC banking transformation project delivery experience strongly preferred
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE banking regulatory and client stakeholder engagement
