Job Title: Project Finance Director – Energy

Job Description: As a Project Finance Director covering energy at a globally established engineering and technology consulting firm, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing financial and legal structures — including tax, debt, equity, and project company arrangements — and advancing project finance solutions for energy sector clients across the UAE, GCC, and international markets. You will apply advanced financial modelling and valuation skills to complex energy project finance transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Review and optimize financial and legal structures including tax, debt, equity, and project company arrangements for energy projects
• Advance project finance solutions for energy sector clients across UAE, GCC, and international markets
• Apply advanced financial modelling and valuation skills to complex energy project finance transactions
• Lead project finance advisory engagements — managing lender relationships, financial model development, and term sheet negotiations
• Develop and maintain complex project finance models for energy infrastructure, renewables, and conventional energy projects
• Build and maintain relationships with energy sector clients, project sponsors, and financing institutions
• Coordinate with legal advisors, technical experts, and financial institutions on complex energy financing structures
• Monitor UAE and GCC energy market developments, regulatory changes, and project finance market conditions

Qualifications Needed:

• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills for complex energy project finance structures — required
• Significant Project Finance Director or senior advisory experience in energy project finance across GCC markets
• Deep expertise in project finance structures — debt, equity, tax optimization, and project company design
• UAE experience with government/semi-government organizations and/or multinational companies preferred
• Professional certification in Finance such as ACA, CFA, or equivalent required
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE government and semi-government energy client engagement
