Job Title: Open Ended Hedge Fund Accountant

Job Description: As an AVP-level Open Ended Hedge Fund Accountant at a globally established fund services and administration group, you will be responsible for providing fund accounting, NAV calculation, and financial reporting services for open-ended hedge fund clients — applying proven hedge fund accounting expertise to a globally connected fund services environment serving institutional and alternative investment fund managers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide fund accounting, NAV calculation, and financial reporting for open-ended hedge fund clients
• Calculate and validate net asset values (NAV) for open-ended hedge fund structures across multiple strategies
• Reconcile fund positions, cash, and portfolio data against prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties
• Prepare investor statements, financial statements, and regulatory fund reporting for hedge fund clients
• Coordinate with fund managers, auditors, and regulatory advisors on fund reporting and compliance requirements
• Ensure accurate, timely fund accounting deliverables aligned with fund documentation and investor expectations
• Monitor and resolve fund accounting exceptions, reconciliation breaks, and NAV validation issues
• Contribute to fund accounting process improvements and system enhancements

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven hedge fund accounting or fund administration experience at AVP or equivalent level
• Deep expertise in open-ended hedge fund NAV calculation, portfolio reconciliation, and fund financial reporting
• Experience working with hedge funds, prime brokers, and custodians on fund accounting deliverables
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills for accurate NAV calculation and fund reporting
• Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
• UAE or GCC fund services experience preferred
