Job Title: Accountant

Job Description: Seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in brokerage, fintech, trading, or financial services. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience managing full-cycle accounting operations for an FX currencies brokerage in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Oversee UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance and filing requirements
• Perform reconciliation of trading accounts, client funds, and brokerage revenue streams
• Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursement
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes with accurate documentation
• Monitor and manage cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital requirements
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with regulatory requirements for an FX brokerage

Qualifications Needed:

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in brokerage, fintech, trading, or financial services
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• UAE VAT knowledge and corporate tax compliance experience required
• Experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounting tasks simultaneously
• Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA part-qualified, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
