Job Title: Java Software Engineer

Job Description: Looking for a Java Software Engineer in Dubai. The programme places intern engineers on fast-moving technical projects, building real production systems using Java within Revolut’s engineering teams. Revolut supports participants with visa assistance and travel costs.

Responsibilities:

• Work on fast-moving engineering projects — building real production systems using Java within Revolut’s engineering organization
• Develop backend Java services and features for Revolut’s digital banking platform in Dubai
• Contribute meaningfully to coding, system building, and technical delivery from day one of the internship
• Collaborate with senior engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional squad members on real platform features
• Write clean, well-tested Java code following Revolut’s engineering standards
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint delivery activities
• Learn and grow within Revolut’s structured Rev-celerator internship framework with mentoring support
• Contribute to Revolut’s engineering culture and participate in technical learning and development sessions

Qualifications Needed:

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent with Java proficiency
• Ability to work on fast-moving technical projects and build real production systems during the internship
• Genuine interest in fintech, digital banking, and large-scale software engineering
• Proactive learner with ability to contribute meaningfully in a high-performance engineering team
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a relevant Computer Science or engineering degree
• Visa assistance and travel costs supported by Revolut for eligible candidates
