Job Title: iOS Software Engineer – Core Product

Job Description: As an iOS Software Engineer for Core Product at a globally established AI-powered reading and listening technology company, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app — working at the frontier of AI, voice technology, and consumer fintech-adjacent product development in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environment. You will have the opportunity to lead key engineering and product decisions as part of a globally connected team.

Responsibilities:

• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app — contributing to core product features from day one
• Lead key engineering and product decisions as an iOS Core Product engineer
• Design and implement high-quality, performant iOS features for an AI-powered consumer technology platform
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and AI researchers on core product feature delivery
• Write clean, well-tested iOS code following engineering best practices for a globally scaling consumer platform
• Contribute to iOS architecture decisions, code review, and engineering quality standards
• Monitor iOS platform developments and AI technology advancements relevant to the Speechify core product
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment with high autonomy and accountability for production impact

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven iOS software engineer experience with production app development track record
• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS development frameworks for high-quality consumer app engineering
• Experience shipping production code for a consumer-facing iOS application at scale
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with high autonomy and accountability
• Genuine passion for AI, voice technology, and building innovative consumer technology products
• Portfolio of coding projects or production iOS app contributions preferred
