Job Title: Head of People Operations

Job Description: The Head of People Operations will design and implement HR operations infrastructure — covering onboarding, compensation, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and HR analytics — enabling Lean’s People team to operate at scale.

Responsibilities:*

• Design and implement scalable HR operations processes covering onboarding, offboarding, compensation management, benefits administration, and employee records
• Own Lean’s HRIS selection, implementation, and ongoing management — ensuring data accuracy, system adoption, and operational efficiency
• Lead compensation and benefits benchmarking, administration, and cycle management
• Ensure Lean’s HR operations comply with Saudi Arabia and UAE labour law and visa/work permit requirements
• Build HR analytics and reporting capabilities — providing leadership with data-driven insights on headcount, turnover, engagement, and cost
• Partner with Recruiting, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure alignment across the employee lifecycle
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook for Lean’s multi-market team
• Build and develop the HR Operations team as Lean continues to scale

Qualifications Needed:

• 7+ years of HR operations leadership experience within a fast-scaling tech company or startup
• Proven experience building HR operations infrastructure from early or growth stage
• Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabia and UAE labour law and HR compliance
• Experience with HRIS implementation and management (BambooHR, Workday, HiBob, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills for HR data and reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Arabic
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
