Job Title: Head of IT Application Support

Job Description: As the Head of IT Application Support, you will provide bank-wide leadership for the stability, availability, and resilience of the bank’s application landscape, owning the Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Change-the-Bank (CTB) operating model [citation:2].

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the application support strategy, ensuring it aligns with the Group’s technology roadmap and covers core banking (Temenos) and its ecosystem [citation:2].
• Shape the run-and-change interface between the bank, IT vendors, and managed service providers across hybrid cloud environments [citation:2].
• Ensure robust governance for RTB and CTB; provide senior-level assurance for audits, regulatory reviews, and examinations.
• Lead major incident and problem management, driving root cause analysis and enforcing ITIL-aligned service management practices [citation:2].

Qualifications Needed:

• Extensive experience in application support leadership within a major financial institution; deep knowledge of Temenos core banking [citation:2].
• Strong experience in IT governance, risk management, and managing regulatory readiness in a bank.
• Proven ability to manage technology suppliers and vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and clear accountability [citation:2].
• Track record of developing high-performance teams and championing AI-enabled capabilities and modern SRE principles.
