Job Title: Head of Engineering – High-Growth Fintech

Job Description: Shape the engineering culture of a high-growth Dubai-based fintech as its Head of Engineering. Provide visionary technical leadership, scale engineering teams, and enhance delivery standards while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities:

• Shape and drive the engineering culture of a fast-scaling fintech organisation
• Lead, hire, and scale engineering teams across product, platform, and infrastructure functions
• Define and enforce engineering standards, practices, and delivery frameworks
• Own the technical roadmap and align it with business objectives and product strategy
• Collaborate closely with product management, compliance, and operations on cross-functional delivery
• Drive architectural decisions for scalability, security, and reliability of fintech systems
• Mentor senior engineers and build a high-performing, accountable engineering organisation
• Report to C-suite and provide regular engineering performance updates to leadership

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven experience as Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior technical leadership role
• Track record of scaling engineering teams and delivery standards in a high-growth fintech or technology company
• Strong technical background across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture
• Experience building and operating fintech, payments, or regulated financial services platforms
• Excellent people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
