Job Title: Financial Analyst – Venture Capital & Private Equity, Deal Sourcing

Job Description: As a Financial Analyst for Venture Capital and Private Equity at a GCC investment firm, you will apply financial analysis and deal sourcing expertise — conducting investment research, financial modelling, and startup due diligence for a professionally managed GCC venture capital and private equity investment organization.

Responsibilities:

• Apply financial analysis and deal sourcing expertise to venture capital and private equity investment mandates
• Conduct investment research — startup screening, sector analysis, and competitive intelligence for deal sourcing
• Develop financial models for VC and PE investment evaluation — valuation, scenario analysis, and return modelling
• Perform startup due diligence — financial model review, market sizing, and business model assessment
• Prepare investment committee materials — IC papers, deal memos, and investment thesis documentation
• Coordinate with Investment Directors, Legal, and Portfolio teams on deal sourcing and VC/PE delivery
• Produce financial analyst-level investment research and IC documentation for senior leadership review
• Monitor GCC and global venture capital, private equity, and startup investment market developments

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Financial Analyst experience with venture capital, private equity, or startup investment background
• Strong VC/PE financial modelling, startup due diligence, and investment thesis documentation skills
• Deep understanding of GCC venture capital and private equity ecosystem and startup investment dynamics
• CFA Level I or above — preferred or in progress for VC/PE financial analyst mandate
• Excellent investment research production and IC paper documentation for senior investment leadership
• GCC venture capital, private equity, or startup investment financial analyst experience strongly preferred
