Job Title: Engineering Director – Financial Technology Platform

Job Description: As an Engineering Director at a leading regulated financial technology platform — powering seamless, smart, and inclusive finance and connecting financial institutions across Saudi Arabia — you will lead the technical architecture and engineering excellence across a nationally significant fintech infrastructure platform. You will apply engineering leadership expertise to build and scale a platform that is transforming financial inclusion and digital banking across the Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical architecture and engineering excellence across a regulated financial technology platform
• Power seamless, smart, and inclusive finance by building and scaling the platform’s engineering organization
• Connect financial institutions across Saudi Arabia through high-quality, secure engineering leadership
• Define and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with the platform’s business and regulatory objectives
• Build and develop the engineering team — recruiting, coaching, and driving engineering excellence at scale
• Ensure all engineering work meets SAMA regulatory standards, NCA cybersecurity requirements, and fintech compliance
• Partner with Product, Compliance, and Commercial teams on technology strategy and platform architecture
• Drive digital transformation of the Saudi financial services ecosystem through engineering leadership excellence

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Engineering Director experience with financial technology platform leadership in Saudi Arabia or GCC
• Deep technical architecture expertise for fintech, payments, or digital banking platforms at national scale
• Strong understanding of SAMA regulatory requirements and NCA cybersecurity standards for Saudi fintech
• Excellent engineering team leadership, organizational development, and technology strategy skills
• Arabic language skills preferred for Saudi regulatory, government, and banking stakeholder engagement
