Job Title: Credit Analyst – SME Business Loans (Fintech)

Job Description: Our Client is is seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate SME business loan applications and perform credit underwriting. The role provides exposure to SME lending and fintech credit underwriting within a digital banking environment.

Responsibilities:*

• Evaluate SME business loan applications and perform credit underwriting assessments
• Analyse applicants’ financial information, business documentation, and credit history to assess creditworthiness
• Prepare detailed credit assessment reports with recommendations for approval or decline
• Ensure adherence to BankByChoice’s credit policies and underwriting standards
• Liaise with SME clients and the sales team to gather additional information required for credit decisions
• Monitor approved loan facilities and identify early warning signals of credit deterioration
• Stay current on SME lending market trends, UAE credit regulations, and fintech credit products
• Contribute to the improvement of credit assessment processes and underwriting frameworks

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience in credit analysis, SME lending, or loan underwriting within a fintech, bank, or financial services firm
• Strong financial analytical skills with ability to interpret SME financial statements and business data
• Exposure to SME lending and fintech credit underwriting is advantageous
• Understanding of UAE SME lending market and applicable credit regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for credit report preparation
• Proficiency with financial modelling and credit analysis tools
