Job Title: Corporate Lawyer – Financial Regulation, Corporate & Compliance

Job Description: As a Corporate Lawyer specializing in financial regulation, corporate law, and compliance with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across compliance, finance, operations, and business — advising on financial regulatory matters, corporate transactions, and compliance frameworks for financial sector and fintech clients. Prior experience in the financial sector — banking, fintech, brokers, or asset management — is required.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams — compliance, finance, operations, and business — on financial regulatory advisory
• Advise on financial regulation, corporate law, and compliance frameworks for financial sector clients
• Draft and negotiate corporate documentation, regulatory submissions, and compliance advisory materials
• Conduct legal research on UAE and international financial regulatory developments affecting clients
• Support compliance framework design and regulatory gap analyses for banking, fintech, and brokerage clients
• Manage client relationships through professional financial regulation and corporate law advisory delivery
• Contribute to business development activities for the financial regulation and corporate law practice
• Coordinate with external regulatory specialists and industry bodies on complex financial regulatory mandates

Qualifications Needed:

• 3–5 years of PQE in financial regulation, corporate law, or compliance legal advisory — required
• Prior experience in the financial sector — banking, fintech, brokers, or asset management — required
• Strong legal drafting, regulatory research, and client advisory skills
• Understanding of UAE financial regulatory frameworks — CBUAE, DFSA, ADGM FSRA, and VARA
• Excellent communication and cross-functional team collaboration skills
• Arabic language skills advantageous for UAE regulatory and corporate client engagement
